Best way to make 2 skiing trips...?
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 7 Replies
I never actually thought of that and it's a very good idea.. however.. my best friend can't come skiing this month and that's why I am going to go with him over the next 2 months.. so as much as a good idea that is, it can't be done :(

Thanks for that advice though, will definetly remember that and consider going for 2 weeks if the price difference is right :)
Cheers!

Awesome. I'm making it a goal of mine to visit every Scottish skiing resort - So far i've crossed Glenshee and Cairngorm off my list.. But I still stick by the rule of following the good weather, so I may end up visiting each resort more than once :) I'll be making more trips up there over this season to make the most of it, don't you worry about that!

However.. back on topic - Anybody else have any experience of finding cheap ski deals to literally anywhere - be it France, Austria etc in Feb/March time? :)

Thank you Pablo! - I shall have a look into the Whiteroom Chalet's and the like.. I'd love to make 2 skiing trips abroad in one year.. Never managed it before!
P.S - have you been skiing in the highlands over christmas period? - Had a blast when I went up on Monday!

Hello again! :) It's me with question after question...

This month i'll be going skiing with a couple of people to France somewhere - undecided yet, prices to be checked etc..
however, my best mate hoped to come but unfortunately he doesn't have the funds for it this month, so I have offered to go with him in late feb/early march.. just the two of us to somewhere extremely basic and cheap as chips if possible

Can anyone recommend a resort/ski package or a company who they found was cheap but yet had good skiing? :)
Both of us are good skiers - Apres Ski isn't exactly a must, but so long as there is one or two bars dotted around nearby - all is well.

Cheers!

I've never used Oakley goggles, but considering they're Oakley's.. I'm gonna go ahead and say very good?

You won't be disappointed with any Oakley goggles i'd imagine.

Was very chuffed indeed! Wish it was like that most of the time to be honest, but to catch it once is better than never - hoping the conditions will be similar next week!

Pablo Escobar wrote:Looks good! The weather was a lot better than forecast everywhere today by looks of things. I still haven't been able to justify the travelling time to Cairngorm but will hopefully do it sometime this season. You were lucky to get through on the A9, apparently it closed again this morning after the carnage of yesterday.

I agree, the A9 was closed yesterday for 9 hours or so I heard.. and then on my way home back down the A9 tonight, another lorry jack-knifed! Had to follow a horrible, long diversion that took me down some dodgy backroads.. but got home safely in the end :)

Good luck finding the time and conditions to make a day of skiing up north, i'm sure you'll get it :) I'm thinkin bout goin up again next week - we'll see how things plan out I guess!
