Hey Huard, I haven't seen a pair of Shoguns in a while.. Haven't Salomon stopped the production of this ski?
I had a wee Google around and came across some second hand (and new, previous seasons) Shoguns but they're either too short or too long (110 cm and the next was 172cm) Is there any particular reason why you're set on the Shoguns? There's many similar skis.. Have you looked at Glisshop? (Sorry Admin if this is classed as advertising, I've nothing to do with the company) I say this because I just bought a pair of 2014 K2 Sight with Marker Squire bindings and the price astounded me! Worth a look on their site :) |

As soon as I arrive wherever we're staying, I'll unpack my things, get the kit ready for first lifts the next morning and go a wander around the resort- grab a few beers!
As for the first day skiing, I'll start off on blue/red. First run is time to point the tips down and go hell for leather :D Flying out to Geneva mid January, not sure on which resort yet! Buzzing though! |

Hello guys and girls!
It's been a long time since my last posting on here, I've been working the last two winter seasons in Austria :-) Been awesome! However, I'm back again and I'm looking for just a winter holiday this season to Val Thorens. I've been here once before (stayed in Meribel) and it was epic. I'm trying to piece together a DIY holiday myself as a group of 4 friends are already booked up to go (can't add 1 more, they're 4 in a room) so I've got flights cheap enough, transfers cheap enough.. The only thing I can't seem to find for 1 (or 2 for the space) is accommodation at a reasonable price. I was wondering if any of you J2Skiers happen to know of anywhere you can recommend? Perhaps any particular hotel or any websites that might help. I've been looking for a while now and haven't come across much. Many thanks!! Baillie |
