I think I know the one you mean, is it the Valfagehr on the route back from Stuben? Heated seats if I remember correctly.

No! What do you think this is? A Holiday? Seriously the only thing I'd say about not going out is check the weather forecast, you don't want to miss a nice sunny day only to then have a storm hit the next day. |

That's the standard way they remove injured skiers from the pistes in St Anton, off to hospital dangling on a wire strapped to a doctor. I seem to have quite a few photos of rescues in my St Anton photos. No one I know so far, luckily.

I know a few who aren't too keen on this one in St Anton:
Mind you it's this one you really want to avoid: ![]() |

There's more snow forecast for the end of this week so there's every chance you'll get to ski powder next week.
Main difference is that your skis need to be a little closer together so they ski the same track. Weight over the skis, very slightly back but no more than that or you'll struggle to control the skis. Find a nice gentle gradient and have fun, follow the fall line and use rhythmic bouncy turns. Stay relaxed so you can stay balanced when you encounter changing snow textures. You'll eat a bit of snow before you get it right, but it's soft and fluffy so you're not going to hurt yourself. |
