Not to hijack the "I want to go on holiday now" thread, I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread for scary lifts.... :shock:
As pointed out and also not to steal Snapzzz thunder, quite possibly the scariest lift I have been on is the said chair in Val D'Isere? If my memory is correct I think it's called the sunny express and it's the only chair you can take, to take you over into the final valley of Val.....

the alpe d'huez lift was very scary the first time I went on it. I didnt realise there was a big valley there I thought it was flat and just went straight across
