Would also look at Seefeld in Austria. Seems to tick all your boxes, but not getting many mentions from people on here.
We love it! |

Yes, I have, which is what prompted the question. I suppose it's because one is looking down the slope, making the horizon parallel with the bottom frame edge (roughly). If one were to stand looking across the slope, then one might get a better indication of gradient (as long as one was standing vertically and not perpendicular to the slope!!) |

What grade were those runs? |

I've been following these for a couple of years now, 5 phases in all building up to the time of holiday. No equipment needed, except a couple of tins of soup(?!)

In that case, there is certainly benefit in it.
This is something that we could consider, in actual fact - unless I'm too old at 62!!! :( Do you think that it is difficult to get into? |

How much time do you think you will actually have on the slopes?
One day off a week does not sound like much. Considering that you have about six days whilst on holidays, it will take you six weeks to get the same amount of skiing in? Am I right? |

Innsbrucker, you are obviously an even more experienced Seefelder than I am, and it's nice to come across someone who thinks so highly of the place. It's interesting to read your comments regarding the municipal spa. We love going to the spas after a day on the slope, but have only used the hotel spas. we might give the municipal one a go next time.
