Is there any way of determiing how old a pair of boots is?(I can imagine the ridicule I am letting myself in for). I bought mine second-hand and am curious how old they are. Are there markings that would give a clue, or something? :oops:

I skiied this year (cross country admittedly) ina soft shell jacket, and found it extremely comfortable, and practical. The only problem with downhill, particluarly off-piste, I guess, would be the lack of a snow skirt. :)

We always go on half-term to Seefeld, and it was definitely quieter this year than all past three. This, even though I believe (from the research that I did way back), that the whole of western Europe had the same week off this year.

Oh dear! :( Have been home three days and can't get my head into work mode. Seefeld was it's usual lovely self, although the snow could have been better - slightly.
Anyway, I never went near a slope (a slight exaggeration)this year - but spent all the time on cross country trails. Enjoyable, but am now suffering serious withdrawal symptoms for some downhill, which could be the reason I am spending a lot of time watching skiing videos instead of working. |
