We normally have a couple of small humidifiers running all winter. Hanging some wet towels up in the room will help make the air more comfortable for sleeping.

Talk to your doctor, as there is a steroid nasal spray that can help reduce the swelling in the nasal passages. Unlike the decongestant sprays, it has can be used indefinitely without problems. I have been using it occasionally for years for a stuffy nose. Takes a couple of days of use to open things up.

My Hubby suffers the same problems and we think its the heating, dry air. He uses the nasal spray Trencher suggests but in this country its called Flixonase

I reckon we will be looking at 1.25 by June.

As far as I know its just one piece of hand luggage per person. Ladies can not get away with a handbag and a cabin sized bag.
I have it sorted now, I bought a rucksack sized cabin bag with two compartments. I put every-thing I want for the flight in my hand bag, slip the handbag into one compartment and just take bag out when the rucksack goes in the overhead compartment.
I am sooooooooo excited!!!

Brimster, You're correct I am a teacher and I have been a deputy and a head which I must admit I made very clear on my applications. I'm not counting chickens yet though, got to get through the interview. Still excited though! :D

Th plan is to eventually have a house without a mortgage in England (need to sell current house first though...we have some interest now), and a small business with accomodation in a ski resort. Ski season running business/home for the summer.

Overriding plans are to ski as much as possible and not have to work in the UK education system again!

Sounds so exciting.....so envious. Whilst I love Lapland I think your plans for a bar/cafe would be quite limited there. Their licensing laws are strange.

Pablo Escobar wrote:I have been in Chambery airport watching them take the ski bags from the luggage-mover on to the conveyor belt and some bubble wrap and a decent bag wouldn't stop them being damaged (or weakened). Point remains - don't let them know you have been on a flight.

Have seen them at Bournemouth airport, using their boots to kick ski/boards through the hole. Hubby went round the back and told them they would be next on the end of his boot if they tried it with our boards.

This was one of my Sons favourite places when he was about your daughters age.

Rose, it may be that the Germany/Scotland/Devon logistics may be an issue.

Yeh your right Dave I forget that Tino's in Germany.
