One of our lads died when he hit a truck at 70mph, feel so sorry for his family.
The saddest part was that he called in sick this morning but somehow ended up at work. I really hope pressure was not placed on him to turn in, I am sure his manager must be feeling incredibly guilty whatever the circumstances.

Just goes to show how fragile life can be so make the most of it.

So sorry for your bad news you never know whats around the corner. I went to the most heart rending funeral last week that I have ever been to. Our friends 15yr old lad got hit in the head by a cricket ball at school, never woke up again.

We have tried 6 local garages to-night all have no fuel. We are well and truly stuffed.I can just about manage to walk to work, long walk but do-able. Hubby wont be able to work,he had windows, doors and a conservatory booked in for next week if he cant get fuel to-morrow jobs will have to be cancelled. Hideous at work we have a fleet of 20 vans to deliver and collect medicines for all our stores about 15 vans without fuel at the moment. Not happy bunnies at the moment.

Same here every garage closed around here. Hubby now can not work and I shall have to walk to-morrow to work. When this happened about seven years ago and petrol was being rationed I was allowed to fill tank as my company registered as essential services and provided I produced evidence we were allowed. Hope it will be the same again. One of our drivers went to fill up to-day and was behind an old boy who topped his car up...........with £1.78 worth of fuel. Absolutely disgusting.
Anyone organising a group?

Ally I will take my hat off to you if the holiday all works out. I can not believe how much work you are putting into it. Its bad enough organising a group of people that you know let alone strangers. But my worry's would be that unless you know some-one personally but just through the internet people may not be who they appear to be. People that come across as grumpy may be lovely people and vice versa. This is just my opinion but I would have thought if people are going to a certain place at the same time, exchange mobile no's, meet up some-where for lunch, have a days skiing to-gether. If every-one gets on with each other by all means book a holiday to-gether the following year. If not steer clear. As I said its just my feelings and not meant to cause any offence.

Need to find a holiday for July, still no great deals.

How good a deal? Just looked on Thomsons and the holiday we have booked is £200pp cheaper than what we paid for. Does £441pp for 2 weeks sound a deal? If it does I will tell you where.

When my Hubby fits windows and doors he always hoovers around where he has workded. Last week he had to apologise to some-one because where he hoovered the carpet was a different colour to the rest of the room. He said it was absolutely filthy.
