Tignes would be very high on my list too. Ideally in Val Claret for the night life and easy access to the glacier in the event of poor snow.

PS should point out that the poster said he was new to forums such as this, not that he was new to skiing.
Meditation works for some, but personally I find that alcohol tends to help more

Really sorry to hear your issues Snowb4ndit, I hope you decide to stay and can work the problems out. Is there a spare key in the UK? Perhaps you could get it sent out via secure courier. At least this will allow you to drive to a dealer for a spare rather than the cost of a tow.

Sounds like your son needs putting over your knee and getting a good spanking  I assume it was agreed he would keep an eye on the lodgers.

Chin up, at least the snow is excellent )

I can only backup what OA says, I went away on a Mark Warner with my sister and some of their friends who took their children. The standard of childcare was superb.

On top of that, the service we got from all the staff and the food were second to none. I don't have any knee biters myself, but despite the high price, I would definitely travel with Mark Warner again.

You likely to be getting any sleep tonight then? Or will you be hanging from the curtain tracks awaiting your chariot?
:D Thanks Dave, always nice to have some on site info.

To make it easy for myself, I created a really basic webpage simply containing embedded local cameras so I could see 4 at once, and I can see it is dumping down this morning :P

Hmm, just a guess from me, but I would have said it is due to the mountain. Is the higher point to the south? This would be why it is at the top of the map, high to low = South to North.

Of course, my theory goes out of the window if the North is higher
