Ski boots - Pain?
Started by User in Ski Hardware, 20 Replies
I have had boots fitted by the guys at Ellis Brigham in Glasgow and I would not recommend them to anyone... got my money back.
Good news for skiers using BA...

No it's not, that's just silly. I get all my expenses paid when I'm working, all the accommodation, transport, food, insurance, medical expenses and a certain amount of kit, not a single bit of that pays the mortgage, or the costs of owning a house, or a pension. Not that I assume the costs of owning a house are much of an issue for anyone earning £11k a year.

Assuming people are entering the industry for a 'career' it isn't a bad starting point at all, especially with the apparent earning potential.
It's snowing here in London!

I love how it grinds to stop in the south when you get a little snow

...and ref: CEM, PM him for a recommendation on a boot fitter. I wouldn't go to Ellis Brigham assuming they were going to fix your problems (or any boot fitter), the boot may not be the right size or shape for your foot. I just wouldn't go to Ellis Brigham at Xscape...

Thats not unusual for LOADS of skis to be fair.

Yeh you are right. The Lords seemed to me to be a particularly common one last year though. Or maybe Lord owners are just more likely to post on the internet about their issues

Just thinking about that makes my knees sore. Do you go 'big'?

Soon you will need these.
