I don't know if you are allowed the ipod in, might interfere or something.. (or the machine might interfere with your ipod)
40 minutes was a quick one for one knee, you can look forwards to up to 2 hours of fun depending on how complicated your scan gets/what they have to look at. |

You just have to be comfortable with sitting still.. you are allowed to go to sleep or take a CD and they will play that for you.
I had to lie for about 40 minutes motionless which killed me  There is a button to be pressed if you get panicy but there is nothing to worry about as you won't be all the way in the tube just for a knee scan! I think the 20 minutes with the Consultant here cost about $200 canadian and the scan about $1100 canadian but it was worth not having to wait. |

Thanks but no thanks smirnoff.. 115 is too short and as a result will screw the skiing. It is actually for me.. I think I might just have to stump up the cash for a couple pairs rather than trying to just use oldies
I would have to cut the 125s down to 120 for use hence the 120 preference. And yes, the 5cm makes all the difference in my skiing, lol |

I hate MRI scans but they aren't really so bad...
Sounds like you need to run with the only solution that fits here and that is to go private for it. NHS: Wait for consultant appointment-6 months Ross Hall: Wait for consultant appointment and MRI scan- 6 days |
