Nevis Range webcams still down but I am warming towards making the trip tomorrow as long as the forecast holds.
Pouring with rain then snow then rain here just now. Glenshee was looking good this morning: http://www.trinum.com/ibox/ftpcam/glenshee.jpg Also looks like Glencoe is picking up a load of snow: http://freespace.virgin.net/kings.house/image.jpg Note: this is in the bottom of the Glen, about 400m before the start of the skiable area (there are runs back down to the base but they aren't skiable unless there is a load of snow). The bottom of the plateau is the hut in this picture: http://www.winterhighland.info/pix/displayimage.php?photo_id=9381 (not mine) and you can see the valley floor in the background with less snow coverage. |

I spoke to the guy that rents the snowbikes in Sainte Foy and enjoyed a run with him. When I say run he bet me he could keep up... he couldn't
Anyway, he looked like he was having plenty fun on groomed runs but struggling with anything not groomed. Sainte Foy is a great place, hope you enjoy it. Where are you staying? |
