Snow today was absolutely quality. Untracked boot deep powder all day long (genuine powder too), I'd have to guess at the temperature somewhere between -5 and -10. Was -10 when driving back through GLencoe. No problems with the roads at all, the road up has snow on it but in good condition.
If it doesn't warm up I would Nevis is a good shout, cover at the top is extensive (read: no rocks), and most of the way down the Goose tbar, skiable back to the day lodge. Nevis is probably closest for you no matter what way you go, took me 2 and a half hours on the way up (loads of traffic and being careful) and an hour 45 on the way home. |

Thats just what she tells you, I'd bet they actually used it in the production of crystal meth to sell on for a healthy profit.
Why would you ski on a dodgy grassy hill when you can do it lift served between an hour and two hours from your door?! |

It is coming down hard here, if this doesn't relent it there may be too much snow for me to get skiing tomorrow

The quickest way (at a guess) would be to cross on to the M8 and drive all the way round and over the Erskine Bridge on to the A82 and just keep going for the next hour and 45 minutes
The road is hardly boring though: http://www.gla.ac.uk/medicalgenetics/chighlands/morss_glencoe.jpg |

Nevis Range is the closest. For prices check out www.nevisrange.co.uk
I could do it in 2 hours from my place in Glasgow, might take you a little longer from Bellshill. |

I didn't actually try them, wasn't willing to waste a powder day (week). I was on skis and he was on the bike ;) He seemed to think anyone could pick it up really quick and also seemed to resent the fact he hadn't invested in a chalet instead of 40 snowbikes  |
