Couldn't get in the Kirchler totally booked up so opted for the half price deal with Aktiv & Wellness Hotel Bergfreid. Got to say I think we got a good deal on this one. Thanks for the help Tino. Finn |

Broom a recent thread on glacier skiing recommended the Hintertux & Stubia Glaciers for early season skiing. I am planning a trip to Hintertux in early November so December should be okay.

thanks for the suggestion of Stubia, really surprised by the amount of terrain that is likely to be open. Just a shame it's only a weekend trip. Finn |

Ally Having reviewed package again I have to say that it is exceptional value for money. Look forward to hearing how you get on. Finn |

£350 for ski boots! it's been a while since I last replaced mine but what I remember is the boot liners being heated enabling a closer molded fit. I assume if you purchase the boots at £350 the fitting service will be pretty thorough & result in some sort of comfort gaurantee.
In contrast the boots priced at £210 sound good value but will they be fitted as described above or will they just arrive by post? Boot fitting really is complicated these days, it may pay to wait until you are in resort for the season & buy some there, that way any problems can be easily addressed. Finn |

Thanks Ally
Tignes was the place that first sprang to mind but after looking at the Tux & the out of season set up... It looks excellent. Wouldn't mind I have skied Mayerhofen & not made the Glacier because we have had the children with us. No children on this trip. Finn |
