Thanks everybody for replies, TA spent couple of hrs trying to get flights from m/c but couldn,t find anything. Other destinations with m/c flight took us out of our budget. Asked about compen. She almost laughed, said if you look in the small print!!!!! The final insult was telling us if we took a refund she would be unable to refund the sum they charged us for paying with a credit credit card think it was about £40......stuffed all round.

Had a phone call from travel agent telling me our flight from Manchester to flaine on Saturday 17th march has been cancelled. She said the only other flight available was from gatwick and with that said if you can't make it we can have our money back!!!!!! I am amazed that they can get away with shoddy treatment if I had tried to cancel with two weeks notice I don't think I would have got far.

thanks for that, glad i dont have to sulk (not good at it) hope your trip is good, paragliding sounds err not too sure....a bit scary perhaps, :shock: have fun.

aww thanks for that!!!! better start praying now. what does happen if the snow doesn,t happen, is it tough do you take out insurance for no ski days, sit in the hotel room sulking (massively) anyone got any experience. is the lack of snow widespread at the moment.

Hi not sure if you have managed to sort anything yet but there was an article in the daily mail on Saturday about how fantastic the skiing is in Scotland at the moment. it included details where to stay ski hire lessons lift passes etc. it might be worth a look. hope you get sorted.

thanks for that Dids1, for better or worse its booked now for 2nd April, will just keep fingers crossed. booked lift pass via travel agent think got a good price for package and staying at Club MMV. cant wait.

Hi everyone, any opinion on hotel Club MMV Flaine. Thinking of booking for week comm. April 2nd. Never skied this late before will snow be good enough or should we be thinking about other resorts. Also is it cost effective to buy ski passes through tour op. or at resort. thank you.
