I dont think Scapula is too keen on it, but knowind SB she'll get him on it somehow.

Enjoy.

On, and snowbandit..... wooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh (white sheet over head kind of noise)

The fishing line is now in the suitcase! There'll be some interesting video footage...Maybe 3rd or 4th night!

aren't you supposed to be at the pub?
you must be really stoked dude

The schedule has gone a bit skew whiff, as I'm sure you will realise by the time of this post. But hey ho, I wouldn't have been able to sleep anyway!.

Anyway I really must get on with trying to find where I hid the passports and check out the ADH webcam one last time.

I'm beginning to think you're very sensible, it still hurts when I sit down

Sounds like you need to put a pair of crash pants on your list too!

caron-a wrote:Thanks tino. I don't know what side I'm going to but I can't stop bloomin thinking about my turns . I'm desperate to get back on a tray.

It's funny because I've immediately preferred going sideways, in fact I prefer going sideways on my toe edge, ie: with my back down the mountain. I thought I'd be nervous about that, you never know how it's going to work out do you.

Snowbandit, I absolutely hated falling over on skis but I had no problem with it at all on the board, I'd just let it go and quite often add a roly poly so that I ended up in the right position to set off again .

Rosieposie, how are you feeling today?

Funny thing is I reckon there is a few more on here that would love snowboarding, I think our own Mr H might be secretly hankering after a tray and some baggy pants )

I've thought about it but I don't like falling over so I'm sticking to what I know. :-)
No smoking in Valais

Personally, I think that smoking should be banned worldwide 100%, but seeing as it isnt, smokers should be allowed places to smoke and it should be up to the owner of the bar/restaurant if they allowed it or not. If that was the case, I would simply avoid the places where it was allowed so I dont stink in the morning, but allow those who do enjoy a cig to have somewhere to go. Simples.

That's always been my view Tony! The way I see it is if the non smoker/smoker ratio is 70%/30% (for example) then bars (where people like to smoke most) should be 70% non smoking, 30% smoking...It could easily be controlled by liscensing. I can't see why they went for total ban in bars, especially ski resorts where temperatures fall into minus figures.
