Hellcats are particularly heavy, I'd be looking for something lighter too (I guess this comes with 'less stiff'). Where are you doing your skiing?

I'd maybe go for something with a little less width too...

Due to the nature of my social life ) , I regularly make calls on the lifts at Nevis, Glencoe and Glenshee. No idea about the other 2.

My day trip to Cairngorm!

Looks good! The weather was a lot better than forecast everywhere today by looks of things. I still haven't been able to justify the travelling time to Cairngorm but will hopefully do it sometime this season. You were lucky to get through on the A9, apparently it closed again this morning after the carnage of yesterday.

Where are you? It is still 'early season' for Glencoe (not usually open until after New Year) so I would assume, having not visited, that things won't be as good as they can be but there has still been a fair bit of snow! I am going Wednesday as long as the weather holds off...
