I wouldn't get fitted at Snow and Rock without a reputable recommendation for a specific boot fitter. Without that it seems like far too much of a lottery. If you can't make it to CEM I would PM him for a recommendation in your area ;)

Pretty sure someone has probably paid that in Austria too. France can be done cheaply, it would be daft to write off a whole resort on the strength of a hamburger.

Another great day! 3 of my non skiing mates are now skiers, sweeet. Glenshee is in good condition, similar to the excellent conditions experienced last February.

Soldeu might be a great place to stay but the OP isn't really 'there' and the shuttle goes to El Tarter (which is fine). Good navigation will help you avoid the flats. No recollection of the food or the hotel but I remember an unbearable smell outside the ski shop.
