As a 17 year old unemployed student i cant really afford a sports physio when I can get it free on the NHS. I had a hamstring injury 6 months ago and the NHS are really good with physio. And yes im keeping positive. Thanks

Stop drinking for a week?

Seriously though, it might be worth your while, I have been in a similar situation (Dr.-->Consultant-->Physio).

Not sure on the specifics but I reckon having seen a Dr. with a specific knee complaint and being referred for further treatment could have an impact on your insurance companies willingness to cover you should something happen.

What happened when you hurt your knee?

Dublin looks OK, might get some snow showers but nothing that should stop you taking off.

Toulouse OTOH, looks like it could be in for some serious snows.
Do you know what you have done? Pay for a sports physio and get it done tomorrow, it might save your holiday.

+ get a massage (happy ending optional).
Was there an official figure released for the snowfall?

I thought about being sensible but I will give it a miss.

Clip one ski on (I am sure you will work it out) and have a skate about. Clip the other ski on and get sliding on both. Go further up the hill and let yourself slide down (be careful of going too high) then work your way up and you will get a little faster each time. Don't try and 'teach' yourself how to turn because if you come round to having lessons should you enjoy it, you will experience the 'un-learning' process which isn't nice.

Should you decide to take lessons at any point, the skis you bought are too long and will only make it more difficult for you.
For those flying out this weekend....

The end of the 10 day forecast just now is calling for warmth and rain which can only be a good thing because I fly out in 2 weeks. Never thought I would be hoping for warm weather in winter
Depending on where you are going, January is generally fairly cold. I would count on needing at least: thermals (top and bottom); a mid layer and jacket/sallos. Gloves/Hat are essential and a Buff-type-thing might come in handy too. Remember and price up the 'packages' on a different website to see if you are actually getting good value for money.
