Four weeks ago Easyjet weighed our ski bags (from Grenoble to Gatwick). The man in front of us had to take absolutely everything out of his ski bag (except his skis of course)because it weighed over the limit. Given that we had two sets of skis in our one bag we were very worried. So when my oh put our bag on the machine he held it up a bit with his foot and our bag showed a weight of much less than it did on the way out...Phew! Much to our suprise we got away with it.

Two weeks ago with Monarch we decided at the last minute to pay for one bag (still with two sets of skis). They weighed the bag but were not in the slightest bit bothered how much it weighed. In fact they didn't even ask us for anything other than our passports and how many bags we had so we probably didn't need to pay for the ski carraige at all.

I think it seems to be the luck of the draw on the day!
Finding gigs in a ski resort.

Not quite sure where to put this so feel free to move it if necessary Mr Admin.

Anyway, I know a pretty good band who would go down a storm in most ski resorts with lively apres ski. My question is where would a band begin, if they were trying to get gigs in europe or across the pond even?

Is there anyone out there that has any ideas?

Like everyone else, I think they are too short.

On a more positive note, I can't see how swapping them for exactly the same ski only longer would be a problem for the shop.

This might help you check what size you need:

Also, wasn't there some controversy about her helmet ?

She will be presented with the gold medal at about 2pm tonight (GMT)...Not sure I'll be awake to see that!

Yes the USA team protested that the spoiler on the back of her helmet breached regulations. Four other teams including Canada joined in the protest but the complaints were rejected.
