Also it's an absolute piece of **** for me to get to ;)
I thought Grindelwald was a good shout. Getting the train between runs is so much more civilised than cramped cable cars or windy chairlifts. It is also steeped in history. Having just spent the day looking at a sun dappled Matterhorn, there are few sights that compare to the North Face of the Eiger. Also there is Wengen, and a host of other activities of those who might want.

Hi J :) welcome to the site and be prepared for some 'odd' humour from the inhabitants ;)

I only have anecdotal evidence for Breckenridge, however I suggest Austria as a fantastic location for Apres Ski.

seriously peeps making a conversation out of it will split us like peas. Poll the top 5 resorts, after a specified time it is set. Then do the same with dates and finally follow Lynn's plan and let evryone sort themselves out.

Well said Tino.

It's my 40th birthday in January 2011!

early claim for Jan 2010 there, nice job ;)

I don't mind being referee here, whoops, I mean coordinator ;) but before we play the game we must set the rules. Otherwise it will like Mike Tyson playing Gary Kasparov at pool.
Where: don't care if there is snow
When: don't care as long as I have notice
Who: me and whoever I decide to bring

I'll get it booked shall I?

;)

you make a good point Tony, too many permeations and we can never please all.

Location, date and let the (serious) individuals work the logistics.

Pick a resort you like the look of, go to the website and obtain a list of accomodation and check the hotel websites directly. Many offer great short breaks with passes included, after that it's just travel.

8 man chairlift a go-go here in Zermatt, no wind, blue skies and an extra hour in bed which confused the hell out of me earlier.

I vote we all form a co-op and buy a chalet in Zermatt then we can all come and go as we please :)
