Hi
Going to Breckenridge in 6 weeks, any suggestions for the best places for our apres ski?
Checked the weather and its snowing already!
Really excited as we missed last season due to a small accident.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hi J :) welcome to the site and be prepared for some 'odd' humour from the inhabitants ;)
I only have anecdotal evidence for Breckenridge, however I suggest Austria as a fantastic location for Apres Ski.

Welcome to the forum :D My memories of Breckenridge were of plenty of bars and a Micro Brewery at the top end of the town. It was quite a while ago though.

Never skied Breckenridge, but the resorts I have skiied state side seem to have lots of free food.
Buffalo wings are my favourite!

Is a buffalo some kind of American Haggis?
On thread -
There is a big bar at the pond at the foot of the slopes in Breck. Think it is called Maggies. They have a bit of apres ski going on, but I have to say, like most North American resorts Apres ski is quite thin on the ground.
I have found that most North American resorts seem to cater more for their seasonal workers than their tourists. By that I mean Bands playing and fun starting around 11pm when most tourists have turned in and looking forward to an early start on the hill.

No. I think a buffalo is actually a real animal and not bits of one )

It was the mention of wings which made me think it may be some mythical North American delicacy
