Hi Denni77, sorry I am not out there at the moment, but when I went in early feb there was plenty of snow around.
I found the webcams built into the following interactive map to be very good, and looking at them now, it still looks like there is plenty of snow. Hopefully it will not get too soft in the afternoon. Check out the map.. http://www.skimap.kitzalps.com/en/ |

I've learnt that I'm not the only strange, sad, snow obsessed weirdo in the world :twisted:
I also learnt that your mind can make a massive difference to your skiing. How is that simply having your own skis again after many years, can make such a difference to your skiing, especially as I never used to rent rubbish (well apart from Bulgaria, but there was no choice there). Finally, I have learnt that I really do need to do something about getting fitter for the season and getting in more trips in future. Even if I start trying to get away for long weekends. |

Just one thought here, but sometimes twin tip skis will not fit in the racks in pairs. Was it possible they all had to split the skis to get them in?
My sister has to split hers for most lifts (No comments here Icy :shock: ) and I had to split my Blackeyes a few times in Austria this year. |

Having seen the hairy bikers on tv tonight doing their tour of Norway, I was really impressed with the stunning scenery in the fjords.
I am seriously thinking about doing a drive up the country later this year. Although, I also fancy a visit to St. Petersburg, so maybe I should look into one of those fjord/Baltic cruises. |
