GoPro - there is one somewhere in Verbier at Stairway to heaven. All I need is to go there and do a good search probably with metal detector - it got snapped off my helmet on the first day! :)

Go Pro's on helmets look odd as it is but with a mobile on the helmet next to it would look ...really stupid..i know that was a friday afternoon comment!!!

The one i use is on the link below, it is not the high end product that the gopro is but does more than a good job and is half the price and a fraction of the size of the gopro.

Ever had something hit you from a lift

In les arc last week and in a group so there was a little waiting time on different runs for the group to get back together..unfortunately where i stopped to wait was under a lift and some european teenagers threw a snowball at me and hit me right on the side of the helmet.. after my few seconds of expletives and wanting to take on the hole of france and telling the little so and so what i was going to do to him if i could run up the 500mts of mountain to meet him when he got off the chair... to give him credit it was a good shot  but that was not my initial thought
note to myself is never to wait within throwing distance of a chair lift...
so has anyone else ever been hit by something from a lift..maybe other snowballs or even a ski that has been released from a binding on a lift :-o

Have you skied in the dark?

I have skied the run in obergurgl which has flood lights, if i recall correctly it is 7km( could be wrong) long and happens every tuesday night for a couple of hours. The middlestation has a display from the instructors and they did ski in the dark. The run under flood lights was bashed to death and was as flat as a carpet so not dangerous at all unless you had to much liquid before hand ;-)
speaking of which..i have been in the neiderhut and watched a few pepole ski down after a few hours in the bar..i was sensible and caught the gondola so was able to ski for the rest of the week unlike somewho did ski back from the neiderhut...
