I wasn't supposed to have a ski until 21 Dec at Davos but we had a good dump here in Geneva so we headed up to Col de la Faucille (Monts Jura area) for a quick pre-season sneaky-ski.

Conditions were fantastic with a few different types of snow falling through the day to keep everything fresh. Visibility a bit iffy but for 2nd December,no crowds, 3EU for a bowl of hot chips, 30 minute drive and 24 EU lift pass who is complaining - not me. We had a great day.

It ain't the alps but we have a bit of snow here in my Geneva backyard

View out of top bedroom to the Jura

Just out of picture to the right is the cable car up to Mont Jura Crozet-Lelex. Bring it on.
I have a busy ski schedule coming up but keep us posted of when and where you are headed and our paths math cross. If so, happy to have a ski and some banter. I am an average middle-aged skier who has never grown up.

Davos booked for the 21 December. About 59 sleeps I think.
On the Mont-Blanc tunnel website to look up ticket prices. According to Google maps it is 192 km, 2 hours 28 mins from my front door. Getting pretty excited. Not much fallen here in Switzerland.
It will be interesting to see how quickly this melts.
Cervinia. Yesterday this was grass.
