What type of rail system? Can you not just take 2 separate ski bags?

charlie 26 wrote:hi just got a new ski bag that holds 3 pairs of skis the only problem is with 3 pairs of skis in the bag weighs just over 23 kg . the weight allowance with jet2 the firm i generaly fly with is 20 kg,so i neen to reduce the weight by 3 kg ,as i take my skis to be serviced at a local shop i have never touched my bindings etc ,so i was wandering how easy is it to remove them and put them back on without disturbing all the settings etc ,thanks charlie

Depends if your bindings are on a rail system or are screwed directly in to the ski.

Rail system = possible but you might need to learn how to set them up or be prepared to pay someone else for it.

Straight in to ski = forget about it.

Ski Lift Running on Solar Power

"Opportunity cost" is what you are getting at I think.

The lift doesn't seem that expensive (even although it is only a drag lift). Modern lifts generally run in to millions, if not tens of millions, of pounds/dollars/euros.
