hi All,
looks like my ski buddy may not be able to make it this season ( family problems)may have to go it alone; so was wondering if any one can advise;
Is there a company that offers single travellers a decent deal (e.g. none or little single supplement).
Was planning January 2nd or 3rd week
Any ideas appriciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi All,
Having read all the posts on this thread , at risk of making a fool of myself, can anyone tell me what the web address for 'panorama'ski hols is? Tried a google search but to no avail?
To answer the posters question , I have used snowcoach ( good customer service & good price); rocketski ( great price & 'my' reps in Folgarida were very good....chris & sally)& Crystal.........last minute deal, great price; rep friendly but didnt see much of them.
Am looking at a couple of deals with inghams & the good feedback I have 'seen' makes me think they must be okay so will probably go with them this time .
Cheers

I hope your feeling its correct but if it isnt, do they have plenty of snow cannons to cover the pistes?
Any other tips etc you can pass on?

bandit;
That was the plan( wait for snow then book) but prices seem to be holding up more than the last couple of seasons . Have also read about reduced capacity etc & thought whats on offer now may be the cheapest we will see it + might not be any thing left at short notice ( e.g 2 or 3 weeks ) !

Hi All,

Am considering going to Sauze 2nd or 3rd week in Jan; Have found a few decent deals & thinking of booking early ( next week or so); What is the snow depth usually like at this time of year? Is it reliable or should I wait?
Any other hints/tips appriciated.

Thanks in advance

European skiing - most expensive?
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 8 Replies
Hi Clairehbo,
Been to France , Italy & Austria. Of the resorts I have been to Italy is cheapest closely followed by Austria then France ( havent been any where else).
Italy was about 1/2 to 1/3 the price of France for food & booze bought in cafes, bars etc....( which is where all my spending money goes :roll:.
France can be cheap if buying from Supermarkets ( not resort supermarkets though)
Thats what I,ve found
