I think those pictures are beautiful. Tony is going, it's all booked and I reckon it'll be brilliant.

Jastem,
Same route. Just not snow covered. You now know what was underneath it! This was 2003. I'm sure they've tidied up since. |
|
The view from our room was not snow covered mountains but a breeze block wall, about 3 feet away. It was a bit like being in a bunker. Some people did had the view of the mountain and the location is quite good. BUT to walk to the slopes you had to negotiate an obstacle course consisting of broken pallets and ice. It was treacherous. Then you had to slide down a short mud covered slope. Familiar? Food wasn't much cop either. But Prato is the only resort that we've used with Equity that we didn't like. And Wickers is totally correct. You get what you pay for. It was something like £580 per person - all in. We do it cheaper now by driving and having our own equipment. |

Oh Dear...Was that misunderstood?
I didn't say is Wicker a W***er.... |

Actually, quality of accommodation is a good point.
With these people it can be very varied. Claviere (Passero Pellegrino) good. Schladming (Rossl) not bad. Prato Nevoso (Mondole) avoid. We had chance to go to Saalbach in March with Equity too. But much as I want to go to Saalbach one day we couldn't this time. |
