But I don't think you can teel.

Where does the bottom spanking smiley come from? I've seen it on other forums, but not this one - I think it might come in handy.

Anyway, something I've learnt is my inability to recall information, everyone else seems to remember the names and numbers of runs in resorts, bar and restaurant names etc, I struggle to remember the name of the hotel I'm staying in.

Perhaps I'm not observant enough.

A challenge for my holiday; come home with names and numbers of at least 10 runs and 4 restaurants.

Where am I going again?

Seriously though, it's a great forum with a good mix of useful info and good natured japery (is that a word?)

I've joined and contributed to 3 or 4 forums in the past decade. None as good as this (so far....)

Have you sent Snapzzz the bill for that?

I have to say I admire any newbies for diving in, it must be a bit daunting coming along and reading some of the most ridiculously wibbled posts that have gone from a sensible discussion about hand luggage to the state of peoples hair when skiing.

All good fun though, I love it on here. Can you tell?
Have you skied in the dark?

I've done a torch lit descent, no idea where or when it was, but I know I did one.

Not a very good advert really.

....or do both!!!

The end of the day is my favourite, if I can find a bar that's still open (the one at the top of the Penken in Mayrhofen springs to mind), I love watching the mountains change colour, the temparatures get colder whilst having a beer, then have a little ski down to the bottom (obviously not from the Penken I might add)

How on earth did this thread get from Thomson baggage check in to Nelly's hair?

And no sign of Iceman either

He got barred.

I've learnt a fair bit from this site, and I'd like to think I've given some reasonable advice at times, I've been approached a few times privately about seasonal work which is probably my only area of reasonable knowledge, its good to know that we can all add our tuppence worth about what we know. There can't be one single person on here who knows it all (although some probably think they do)

We have a good mixture of knowledge between us, and yes sometimes people annoyingly ask questions that can be easily found on google, but I think we've all learnt to become tolerant.

Great people too, I've only met a couple, would like to meet more one day. But thanks to you all for your contributions and humour and long may we be able to enjoy learning from each other :)

Mr Nelly made me 'tell him a story' this morning, which involved going through our schedule from Friday morning to Sunday morning, to include travelling times, food and beverage stops and running up and down the hotel corridor in excitement.

Excited much?
My hair looks completely hideous whatever I put on my head, but keeping it on is the way forward.
