Hi all.
I'm just wondering if anyone went to the ski show in Trafford Park? It seems to be getting smaller and less vibrant every year, but that's just my opinion. Anyone else have any thoughts? Steve. |

Hi Wanderer. One of the lads in our group had this when we went to Lech in 2014. So last season he saw what he wanted then purchased them and then sold when he got back in the UK! A trifle excessive but after carriage fees he'd saved about £80.

Superb, it relives great memories although I didn't see the moguel field at the top of the Combe De Vallon that I decided to go down face first just for fun.

Hi Michael. a '2 centre' is pretty much as it sounds.....stay in a location, then move onto a different place. I only mention it as admin rightly mentioned that Mittersill is not huge, but not far away there are some amazing places to explore.
I agree with Innsbruck, I've been a few times and it isn't the prettiest of towns, whereas other places like St Anton, Kitzbuhel and Lech have lovely towns, as well as superb skiing. These are dilemmas that I love, because regardless of what you choose, skiing is skiing!!!! |

Hello Michael.
I love Austria, the people are friendly, the food is lovely and the skiing can be outstanding. Without trying to throw a spanner in the works, have you considered a '2 centre' trip,which will give you a rest in between skiing? I love the voralberg region (Lech, St Anton etc) and Lech in particular sounds perfect for you, and the area isn't too far away from where you are staying. Please let me know if I can help in anyway. It's a great place, It's our 4th time back this year.
I like the fact that the same amount of money spent on bird protection is the same amount it costs for a decent meal in some of the restaurants!!!! |

We went on the 6th of Jan to Lech and there was lots of great new snow. Ok, it's 2 weeks after you want to go but hopefully it is a good indication for you?
