I think there's some pre season excitement going on here.

Mr Nelly asked if it was too early to get the ski stuff out the loft. To be fair we both need new jackets, trousers etc so it would be a good excuse to have a rummage in the suitcase. And have a little trip out to try some stuff on.
Nothing booked yet though. |

Tony, have you skiied in France at all (I can't remember)? I think you need to try it to see for yourself, for someone who is a massive fan of skiing you are really limiting yourself by not going because of what you've heard from other people.
My favourite resort is Val D'isere (as opposed to Tignes for accommodation) the area is huge, as is Paradiski (not that I saw much of it this year), you're doing yourself out of some good skiing. Book it! |

Ally G has been a few times in October, she usually goes to Tignes, she should be able to help.

Thanks DM, I do my physio 5/7 days (as instructed), although I've gone a small step back with anything weight bearing at the moment because my knee is quite painful (basically because I'm not walking correctly and haven't for 6 months so there is stress on other parts of my leg/knee). When I move on to the next group at physio I will be with the sports physio so I will tell him that I want to do ski specific physio, whether he knows anything or not is another thing, but I have already been told that I will be fitter than I was pre-injury. At the end of the day it's down to me and what I do. I know when I do ski this winter it will be a few runs a day bimbling around, nothing too strenuous :)
