Hi,
A friend of mine has 'difficult' feet and bought some boots in the UK. He was in so much pain while in France one year he took them to a ski shop. They sorted him out and charged him 20 euros. He said was a great use of the money as they've been no problem since. |

This is the area my son going to with RAF air cadets next week. Sensible enough to know statistically all will be well, but you can't help being concerned.
Am confident they'll look after them well though. |

Very impressed. Well done!
My daughter (aged 14) learning to snowboard in April. We booked private lessons for her and her friend, it was really difficult to find group lessons that matched her standard (which will be about 7 hours learning basics on a dry slope) I hope she makes the switch easily. |

Hi,
I don't know of any passes that are free to kids all season, but I do know that Samoens (Grand Massif) offers free accommodation, lessons, passes and hotel stays (in selected hotels) for children under 12 at Easter & possibly Christmas. We benefited from this and it was a great saving. As to it's suitability for beginners - I'd say not bad. You do have to catch a gondola from the village, but it only takes 8 mins. It's not very cheap, but you can keep costs down by taking lunch to the slopes. It's a lovely village. |

I wasn't so lucky. TK Max in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol had next to no women's ski gear. Absolutely loads for blokes though. Racks and racks, but for women one rack with a few xxs or xxl items on.
 Looking for some new salopettes, reluctant to buy online. |

Hi,
You don't get photos on the passes in 3V. It makes sense what you explain, but you need to make it clear to the lift operator that those children can get back down safely again. If it were me....I would email the lift pass office asking them to confirm this is OK. Then I would get it written in French -unless you speak good French of course) And I would keep it in my pocket to show the liftie.... Hope it works out. Taking kids on ski hols is hard enough without hassle. |

Hi Picky,
It's a shame he wants twin tips....I've got a few pairs of kids skis I must get round to putting on ebay. Not twin tips unfortunately. |
