I used them at christmas in Tigne, when I actually arrived at the ski shop it was a intersport shop whic I had also priced and they were nearly double the price, I tought thats it I will get the old stock, nope the assistant handed me a brand new pair of ski's.

I would definitely use them again.

From what people have told us after the first few wk's of getting into a routine you should get at least 4 hours Per day and your day off per wk.

If I can get that much skiing in per wk I wouldn't mind working like a dog for 4 / 5 months!

Pretty sure they are still quite big in Meribel which would be another really good seasons choice.

If it were me I would be already contacting some operators to see what the view is about employing a couple and what they may be looking for in staff for next year.

Job availability may well decide where you go.
Good luck!

we did the crystal ski chalet host course in September in La Plange.

The course leaders told us due to our age we wouldn't have a problem finding work as most company's would prefer to employ mature couples, the owner of the chalet we stayed in at Christmas said the same and asked us to apply to work for them.

This is a massive step for us both to quit our jobs so we want the location to be as perfect as possible, we don't care how hard we have to work but I want quality skiing for the whole season and lots of it!!

We will need a massive ski area to keep us occupied for the whole season

My first ever skiing trip was to Bulgaria, never again yes it was cheap but you certainly get what you pay for! As a beginner I skied the whole of Bansko in under 3 days then hired a car and drove to Bovorets and skied that in a day.

Bulgaria is a waste of time if you like to ski!!

When we were on our ski holiday at Christmas somebody mentioned silver ski, just taking a look around to see where would be the perfect resort to work at for 4/5 months, Val / Tignes do look good and we loved are time there at Christmas but I am not one for jumping into a decision
