We skied there early January in 2018 and the snow was good but there had been a fair bit of snow over Christmas.

I posted the below to answer another question but is also relivant to yours.
Sauze d'oulx is dead easy,if you are flying into Turin. You can get a train to Oulx and the local bus to resort, really easy and cheap to do. Takes about 2 hours from the airport and cost about 20 euro each way. I always stay at ciao pais, mountain restaurant. On the slopes, skidoo pick up and drop off and some of the best food I havd ever eaten. https://www.ciaopais.it/ |

I use Silverski, loved their chalet holidays so much we did a season as apart of our honeymoon.
They always have last minute deals for £299, the only issue is they only fly from Gatewick & Manchester, they generally employ mature couples as hosts. Always 2 hosts to a chalet always close to the piste. |

What's the best ski in ski out chalet you've ever stayed in?

The two of us were chalet hosts in a 10 guest chalet and was living in so no early morning late night trekking between chalet and accommodation. They have chalet in the three valleys and Latin Plagne. |

We arrived back on the 20th January.
The pistes were in great shape the off piste was very wind swept. The run from the top of the glacier to down to the 2 man chair is great it goes red, blue, black, red, blue, red and is a proper thigh burner top speed of 70.3 mph down the first red. The black has an incline of about 40%. The are a couple of off piste routes from the top of the glacier but very wind swept so gave them a miss but would of loved them in powder. |
