If you're getting a job or the season make sure you think of ski time-I was lucky enough to work 5 days a week 3-6pm which allowed for perfect ski time!!
Would steer well clear of bar/chalet work if possible |

Ha-i fair point that would be good!
Yesterday was a smashing day apparently, a foot of freSh snow, light wind and blue skies . I couldn't get up which was so disappointing Joe what makes it worse is it due to rain this week-no consistent cold spell! |

Japan, Alaska or Utah would be my choices but none are really remotely realistic unfortunately.
Would love to go cat skiing somewhere-love the idea of living in a cabin, getting up in the morning and a cat takes you to all the fresh snow!! |

I know that the start is triggered by the small 'gate' they push through but the finish i only think is the tip of the ski-i only say this because in skier X and cross country it is measured with the tip

Oddly enough my most expensive ones are the least warm! The north face ones-which were 45quid in the sales (from 175) are just a shell and really breathable

Really? I have friends who liked them but they were only beginners and on the nursery slopes, not shredding gnarly powder lines like you Ian!
I suppose proper advice would be get what you can pay for, i have a pair of north face and a pair of salamon both of which are great |
