Yeah that's what the groups on Facebook are suggesting.

Thanks, going to try Crystal and a few others
2 people looking to get a transfer from Geneva to AdH on the 23rd Dec.

We have a lift back semi-sorted for the 30th.

Anyone know of a company that lets you book onto a larger coach or someone who has space and wants some company for the 23 hairpin turns......

Or if there's a desperate thread for transfers please let me know

Cheers

Thanks for all the replies

I didn't look for a while because I was dealing with other things (lawyers and house valuations etc)

But am now back to looking at this since I need something to keep me going til christmas!

I'm lucky that the company I book my school trip with are offering me a very attractive deal in Alpe Dhuez for the 23-30th Dec.

Just need to get a transfer from Geneva now as car hire is mental!

Thanks for the feedback
Move booked a flight to Geneva (£110 return from Edinburgh inc skis) as it was so cheap and will sort out a place according to the snow when the season starts.

I posted on the solutions room - a website I used to use and it gave a bunch of options on chalets. Just need to see where the snow is!

Brilliant thanks

Didn't realise that - literally had been about 6yrs since I've been on here!

I'll check out the links and see if anyone is advertising single rooms etc.

Don't mind skiing on my own - that's more or less what if be doing in bormio anyway because everyone else would be instructing probably.

Cheers

Hi

Been a while, sorry for my absence!

Does anyone know of any groups/companies that specialise in single person ski holidays?

Unfortunately it's not looking like I'll be being joined by my wife anymore on any future ski trips (or even a trip to Tesco...) so I am looking for any other options.

I'm a school teacher and am semi-planning a trip to Bormio (I did a season there in 2010) for the World Cup and New Year this season (snow dependant) but am wondering if anyone is going away either over Christmas/New Year as another option in a more snow-sure resort!

Thanks and sorry for the rather pathetic post!!
2015 where are you going?

I've just booked Bormio for New Year. Fly out on the 26th with my wife and two friends. World Cup on the 28th accompanied by lots of cow bells and hot wine!

Back on the 2nd and away again on the 10th to Alpe D'Huez with my school pupils.

can't wait for both!
Livigno or Bormio?
