Even if it prevents bruising it's offering protection.

Are you reading exactly what I wrote? I said it will offer some protection. I didn't say or imply it would offer the same protection as an actual ski or snowboard snowboard helmet. I'm amazed you can think a helmet which covers part of the head doesn't offer some protection to the areas covered. Even if it prevents bruising it's offering protection. Ise, If you still think a covered area is less protected than an uncovered area then we'll disagree. |

ise, So do you agree that a bicycle helmet is better than no protection at all? The point i was making.

A bicyle helmet is a cheap alternative to a ski helmet although some bicyle helmets cost as much as ski helmets.
It is definately better protection than wearing no helmet at all. Ask yourself how can wearing a protective head covering offer less protection than no helmet at all. Wearing a helmet with a hat underneath or the wrong type of helmet or a poorly fitting helmet will still offer some protection. |

Things I love about skiing holidays
1) Skiing 2) Beautiful mountain scenery 3) It's a holiday with friends 4) Looking around the resort - enjoying the skiing vibe 5) Taking photos 6) There are other activities to do but I often don't do them because skiing gets in the way 7) The pure mountain air makes me feel great 8 )and all the other reasons Caron-a, You can't do 1 but you can do everything else especially 6 although Tignes isn't the most interesting place for non-skiing activities. Treat is as a time to do all the things you wouldn't have time for when skiing. |
