clarkysteph, Is Yonni pronounced something like Ronni? 'Ronni' the instructor I had was half French/half Spanish. A brilliant instructor. Married to a Aussie so she told our group at the time.

If I was in your position I'd go somewhere new(perhaps somewhere my usual ski group wouldn't want to visit as a first choice).

I understand the advantages of going somewhere familiar but experiencing something new can be a very powerful stimulus(like a new partner for instance), something familiarity just cannot offer.

Enjoy it where ever you go.

I think the Nationwide flex account is possibly the only card account which doesn't charge a fee for ATM cash withdrawals when abroad. Plus being a building society you may get a slightly better rate than the banks.

Button bars should be fine for skiiers assuming the route up is smoothish. If not then they're not relaxed enough imo. People who get burning thighs on a button bar: Relax a bit and stand up right then you won't need to be all tense and grip the bar in a death grip.
Rachel27, I wear daily disposables when on holiday and take goggles and sunglasses. The thought of a contact lense being blown out in strong wind is enough to make me wear goggles in preference to sunnies almost all the time. The daily disposables I use are atleast 50% water, what are the possibility of them freezing in sub-zero wind conditions? Is it possible? Anyway goggles provide protection from the cold so that's one less thing to worry about.
Is this expensive?
