Monchavin is beautiful-was there at easter and had a fantastic time-if my memory serves me right, there is one lift that feeds about 4 blues runs and a dribble of off piste kind of runs where you can parallel turn or play in any fresh snow til your hearts content!
However I have heard La Rosiere is nice too |

I am entering this at probably the wrong time, having not really contributed yet but I have a question that I hope wont make Wickers blow his top completely!!
Im looking at flights to Bergamo in Dec for my season and Ryanair are the best option (unfortunatly) as am looking at £35 for the flight, £40 for skis and inc all other **** probably about £100. My question is because I may be taking 3 pairs of skis do we think they will be THAT anal at the desk with my ski carriage? I have read that it is £20 per kg-yes that is right, £20 per KG!!!! It is 20kg limit for sports equipment i think. Have got the Head Monster ski bag so hoping they wont weigh it-esp that early in season-I have never had skis weighed but also never flown with Ryanair when skiing. Any thoughts? |

I recently demoed the K2 Kung Fujas and loved them and although I havent used the MSP on the mountain, Im not sure they are for me-very stiff
anyone fancy a swap?!! I know, I know try before you buy and all that but the MSPs were a steal and they won all those awards...... |

Going to stick with this posting as to not confuse!!
For the chalets personally we want a large 15 person self catered one but I have half a dozen other friends who want to be catered because their first holiday last year in la plagne was catered and thats what the now feel they need! Will look into that website later, cheers. I love the look of the bormio piste map-lots of trees to ski through, cant wait! What is the chat with the off piste? I heard Livigno has decent options but not bormio? |
