Kids skiing = chocolate bars, hot dogs, chips, coke, crisps, more chocolate etc... It's there holiday let them enjoy it! Go on pack your pockets with penguin bars & jammy dodgers, you know it makes sense.

What a great weekend!
Reconmend a short break to Hintertux from the uk, it was really easy. Flights to Munich & onwards travel to Mayrhofen by train then a short bus ride to Lanersbach.
Hotel Bergfried was excellent (posh nosh) & fantastic wellness facilities. Access to the glacier is via a short bus journey (buses run every 20min), we hired our skis online through Sport Nenner, the skis were as described & in excellent condition all collected from the Tal station hire shop. Skiing conditions were very good, lots of new snow with plenty to go at. Après ski was limited but it is only October.
Great to get some early season skiing, you won't be dissapointed.

Unfortunately not, only payment methods accepted were either via Internet banking or bankers draft/personal cheque.

Cheers guys. Not likely to get much money back as their books definetly don't balance and as it always is with these things the banks will be paid out first. I think we can expect 15p for every pound! Sad thing is we used TMS last season & got excellent promt reliable service from them with an exchange rate of 1.14€ to the pound when the high street banks & PO were trading at 1.04€.

You live & learn, if it looks to good to be true it usually is too good to be true. :oops:

Going to Hintertux next weekend, pre-ordered £700 worth of euros exchange rate of 1.2044€ four weeks ago through a company called TMS (travel money services) & guess what, TMS is a trading name of Crown Holdings (London) Ltd. So instead of recieving 840€ today as expected we have got nothing. Have been in touch with the administrators & it all looks a bit bleak, not much chance of getting our money back sadly.
Anybody who has an order with TMS should contact web site for further details.

Crown money services have gone into administration. This company offered travel money services often offering the best exchange rates.

Could potentially affect alot of travellers.
