Finn, have done MW in L2A for the last 3 years and find it hard to contemplate using anyone else. Heading off this Sunday again.
As others have said, their brochure prices are high but I have never paid more than £1900 for two adults and two children (exc kids club, ski school etc) We have always found the service, food kids entertainment to be fantastic and the ski hosting is really good particularly if you are new to the resort. NB We have a friend who has booked to join us on Sunday paying £555.......really good value I think |

The Ski Helmet Debate

It's a really interesting debate...many of my thoughts about why I should get a helmet and why I don't need one have been echoed by others however, as I have been explaing to my wife why I think she should wear one (along with my children) it has become difficult to justify (even to myself) why I alone have become invincible and would survive a bad fall whereas all others would be badly injured!
Although I am fully against the health and safety brigades relentless erosion of personal responsibility I'm begining to think that it reminds me that the compulsary use of seat belts in cars was totally absurd when it was intruduced. Needless to say, my wife will ensure that first thing tomorrow I will belt up securely and head to Ellis Brigham returning with a shiny new helmet....obviously the life insurance policy is not as attractive as I had thought. 9 days................... |

We will all be in La Berangere for afternoon tea (beer) from 4.30 every day - unless we head over to ADH for the day.............all welcome. |

Glad someone finally said what I had thought! |

Mrs R has had to cancel her last ski lesson at Snozone in Glasgow because she cannot get out of our village - 3cm lying...........roads not gritted!
White Christmas must be on the cards. |

Mmmmm, then we could have used BA! |

Just what we did not want to hear..........................Globespan has gone into administration today with all flights (mainly from Scotlan) cancelled.
Jan 10th flight to Geneva now a bit shakey but fortunately we booked with a TO so should all be rearranged unlike the poor folks who booked directly with the airline - no ATOL protection. |
