Just what we did not want to hear..........................Globespan has gone into administration today with all flights (mainly from Scotlan) cancelled.

Jan 10th flight to Geneva now a bit shakey but fortunately we booked with a TO so should all be rearranged unlike the poor folks who booked directly with the airline - no ATOL protection.

Thius airline have been high on the governments "watch" list for a while now so the powers that be would have known this was about to happen. I guess the business was regarded as not being worth saved.

I hope this doesnt do what was predicted and start a domino effect. My understanding is that there are at least half a dozen UK airlines on the verge of going under, although I would be guessing at which ones they were.
