confused by snow reports.....who to trust

On the subject of Snow reports I would never trust the resort reports, they lie.
I was in Tahoe a couple of years ago and the lower base depth was reported as 125cm, I can only assume the reporter was colourblind and reporting the depth of the topsoil not snow, there was none. Canada was similar, the snow depths they were reporting (300 cm+) were not accurate even if you counted the height of the drifts at the side of the road after the ploughs had added all the snow they lifted off the road. :roll: |
