Things that remind me of skiing

First pint in the airport - no matter what time of day it is. I'm not on holiday til I've had a beer!

Specifically ski related though would be: ski Sunday theme music, anyone mentioning the words "fondue" or "tartiflette", the heartbeat skip when the preview brochures from Inghams and Crystal hit the doormat and finally anyone saying "pass the bread".

The last one is just for you two Nelly...

/Rant

Dont get me started - I'm so glad one only has to put up with such things for the first few years of your career

Anyway, back on point, and "hurrah" to snow in Tignes and "Boo" to fires in Bananas

(people are always amazed that I can't touch type, working as I do in IT. My defence is there's only 5 letters in SETUP so no typing skills required.....)

What about 'turn it off and on again...'

That's advanced IT support - if they need that then email is probably broken so you SAY it when they ring in rather than type it when they email..... 8)

I knew what you meant and am not one to pick on people's typing as mine's appalling but I couldn't resist in this case as the "spooky" bit just made it perfect 8)

Whenever I've hit a bit of road on a bald patch of run low down to Village (Kitz Horn I'm looking at you!) I've stopped dead?

No doubt I'm doing it all wrong.....

You need a hard base wax, with lots of Teflon

I KNEW I was doing it wrong !

My Favourite is the Ok in VDI down to La Daille

I know its not tricked up like it is for the stars and I know I don't hit at their speed or fly the jumps etc but there's a real sense of achievement of running down a World Cup grade piste non-stop at (your own version of) full tilt!

You can keep the Face mind you.....
