I reckon that looks pretty solid-in control, good carve, no skid!
If you pause the video around 40seconds I reckon you could be more forward-you are a bit sat back on the skis. Try to focus on engaging your core muscles and lifting you hips forward. That is being REALLY picky tbh and if it is on a steep slope(which it looks like it could be) then its a natural thing to sit back at the ned of the turn! I got some advice the other day and he said to lift my chin up because i was looking down at the snow too much which i never realised! Best thing is to keep videoing yourself-i hate it but it works! |

if you youtube "sofa school" it is a great video by a guy called claus something which would almost def help-i have not ordered it but loads of people have and rave about the full dvd

i dont have time to read this thread fully so sorry if this has been said but i have a very high instep and also suffered from rubbing on "the boney bit" but had a custom insole made for my salomon boots which helped a LOT. They also cut through the elastic inside the liner which gave more space and heated the plastic so it could be made larger
there is LOADS people can do so dont panic |

have just had a look at the salomon website and the ski i sugested there is actually in the "race" category-perhaps look at the aeromax category-there are 4 differnet ones to choose from

the new salomon 24 ski is a pretty good ski-test as many as you can before you buy as there are so many out there
