Good call Bandit :!:
The Dynastar Omesoft were a 1990 ski which if my sources are correct, they were outfitted with a Salomon S637 or S737 binding. They were comsidered a woman's ski - being so soft that some only lasted a season. One production lenget was 190 and another 180 cm in length. The bottom graphic was a flashy "DYNASTAR".... but this is just a guess. Mike :wink: |

I expect our replies will all "fall" to the more recent post where Pavel has given the link to the new pictures. "Spyder jacket phase 2"
That's where my future replies will be located for this - the last week. Mike :-) |

I expect this is the location where the quizz will conclude ... so any additions I make will be through this thread.
1. The Sun Bug has "Formation Distance Education" printed on it so it must have been a promotional item. 2. The item (blue background - white logo)above the Sun Bug is a Blizzard ski tip 3. The Atomic ski chart behind Sun Bug & Blizzard ski tip is actually a Rossignol Ski chart 4. Heel section of a Look GTK binding left of the vertical Rossignol ski on the back wall - right side. DIN set to 3 5. Marker M2S binding - toe section with DIN set to 1 6. Tail section of a ski possibly AXN mulitflex but the results of this ski are listed on this section. 2 X Olympic Champion 4 X World Champion 22X World Cup Winner 107 World Cup Victories Loacted above where the hat was before it fell off.... 7. A white sik on the ceiling made of a revolutionary material FIBROMETAL and made in france. The first letters in the name are OMES.... 8. Portion of a BURT binding positioned over the Megadrive ski. 9. The Stowe decal above the mirror 10. A plumb bob string on the Lund ski - for checking & setting the boot cant. 11. Right of the Megadrive ski; a Salomon 505 binding toe section. 13. right below this is a Marker MS1 binding heel section 14. To the right of this Marker binding is a Look 1117 binding 15. To the right of the Dynamic ski is an Atomic ski pole of approximately 125 cm in length 16. also right of the Dynamic ski is the red fron section of a binding similar to that on the ski rack. The number on this binding is 6810A. 16A. Below this section is it's heel section. The name may be Tyroila "Otis" but I'm not putting any money on that! 17. Right of the Megadrive ski, left of the faded red binding and above the Salomon 505 binding is a toe portion of a Tyrolia 540 binding. 18. Far right lower corner is the heel section of a Salomon binding - possibly an older 557. 19. At the very right edge and near the bottom corner is a GOODE ski pole 20. Near the bottom of thre picture and right of the Dynamic ski is almost the oldest item of the collection - a LOOK heel section of a binding - just right of the Aytomic ski pole. And this is my contribution for now :roll: Mike :wink: |

Thanks Pavel. But I'm sure the others are just as curious.
When I tried the link it come back as "Page Not Found". Has anyone else had this problem?? Mike Ohhhh, ... just found the pictures back on the link to the tuning pictures ellistine listed the other day I thought the blizzard logo was on a ski tip ... now I know it !! Mike :wink: |

ellistine;
These were just tooooo goooood !!!! I was saying to someone today that I wanted to learn to spin while travelling down the hill. Guess I'll practice on my office chair first - just to get the feeling!! I bet your dry slopes aren't as much fun as these people are having :!: And I really hope you find some more of these gems to share. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: Mike :wink: |

Well, the sleepless nights are starting all over again !!! :cry:
But I will comment on a couple of things, and if others have already mentioned them - I'm not trying to step in - my observation powers are just lacking today.... :mrgreen: The item with the blue background with the white "design" located left and behind the sun bug clip is a really short section of a Blizzard ski or a Blizzard decal - none-the-less it is the Blizzard ski company logo. The black ski front section which extends behind the binding instruction sheet to just above the ski rack, and is to the right of the sun bug clip and behind the Rossignol T Power front section is the front section of the ski in vertical position between the HEAD (with the suspended plumb bob) and rear Rossi section. We can see what might be "TEC" on the front section. I'm unable to name the ski with certainty, but my best guess at this point is that it's an old Atomic. Two reasons; the tiny logo similar to Atomic's as part of the tip markings (also these markings could be a stylized "A") and the fact that Atomic have boots named TRITECH and BITECH..... Now, how's that for a stretch? :wink: I'm sure I've seen this ski on the racks at Martock. Mike :roll: |

Pavel, the black ski between the Rossignol and the Dynamic is a puzzle so far to me. It looks in shape to be similar to a Montgomery Ward Ski but the tip markings are different. The ER may stand for Queen Elizabeth but I thought she was only into horses and polo... ellistine and the other UK'ers should be able to offer comments on this. But since it is positioned in front of the Erik Roner poster and if it were not such an old style ski I would say that it has a direct connection to Erik himself.
I had one of those "head banging - light comes on" moments when LOOKing back at recent replies you said "LOOK it is there" etc. Your clues are subliminal for sure :!: Mike |

Thanks Bandit ... and yes, you are allowed to help :!:
It is stated in Pavel's own words on page # 1 in his second post after the photo of the wall: " We want to foster co-operation ....this will motivate you all to share clues as the difficulty level increases...." I'd say we are at the increased level of difficulty now. And Pavel, Judy has just tried to convince me which is the red binding left of the Dynamic ski. I know I'm red/green color blind to some extent; but this binding looks like a dull aluminum to me - a very, very faded red at best. It's a good thing this wasn't a "pick that color " type of quizz :!: Bandit, I have been searching for Look / Marker vintage bindings but have come up empty so far. Your comments will narrow the search. And I do appreciate your help - especially since Pavel says you're right. Judy is my wife guys.... when approaching an amber traffic light, for some reason she always tells me the color :cry: :roll: Mike :evil: |
