Should be doing a stack of Tennis club email stuff, but have a couple of days to do that, so why don't I leave that for a couple of days. :-)
More important, I need to go online and buy some water colour paint tube replenishments, prior to going to N. next week. Trouble is, I also need to buy a brush, the one I want costs £155, (Squirrel hair, sorry Hirsty!). I just know I'm gonna buy the £25 brush, probably hedgehog. Still, I can put the £130 saved towards next years season pass. |

Hi MelC, there is an easy blue in the village itself. Then, once you have your ski legs, you can go up the Brandstadl Gondola, either to the middle ot top station, and there is a blue all the way down to the village.
When you really get going, from the top of the Brandstadl, you can play on blues and reds around the Eiberg. Then a good run is to get across to Ellmau, and then Going. Either of these make for a nice lunch break. Be prepared to suffer the world's worst piste map! All said with grateful thanks to Admin Dave, who by and large kept me on the straight and narrow, or rather, bendy and wide. |

I always take enough cash to cover all the exes. That means a bit a planning and watching euro/£ trends. It also means keeping your wallet really close ~ I even pay my for my accomodation in cash.
Using cash machines costs you a percentage, generally 2/3% for although there are a couple of cards that don't make a charge. The exchange rate is also variable. To your question. Yes there are cash machines in Ellmau. If you want to pay your accomodation bar bill with a card, you need to email them beforehand and check. There are quite a number of hotels, particularly where they are family run, that prefer not to take cards. |

That's cool. Will catch you when the Auhofmobile arrives at the Gondola on the 14th. That's 09.37am.
Unless you arrive early on 13th and decide to ski. Or unless you want to meet up for a beer on night of 13th. If you do arrive early on 13th, and buy your lift pass for the following day, you can use it after 3.00pm on the 13th. Lift closes at 4.45pm. But Jan will fill you in on all that stuff. So where do you fly into, and what time do you hit N.? |

Bandit, I thought that you might have forgotten that famous Tony-H interjection. You and Ise seemed to be going hammer & Ts at the time, I recall. |
