I got a set of Metron B5i's last year at the Olympia Ski Show and had a ball on-piste last season over several trips (I'm 5'10" and just over 15 stone).

We rented from Grenoble last year, worked out cheaper than booking transfers for 4 of us and we got up to Arc 1950 about 2 hrs + before all the tour buses from the same flight started rolling in. By that time we'd got passes, had a nice wee ski and were enjoying a late lunch.
We had booked a small 4x4, but they ended up upgrading us at no charge to a large 4x4 - ski chains and ski roof rack were included in the price. Just keep shopping around for the best deal. Dave |

Bristol airport DO NOT allow ski boots as hand baggage and going from what I saw last year this policy was strictly enforced - there were several signs round the terminal warning you of this and I saw several people turned back at security.

Go private ! I found groups great for getting me started, but these days I always take a private either on my own or with 1/2 others of similar abaility - much better value for the money and it leaves plenty if time to do your own thing and work on what you'vce learned in the lesson.

Looking for recommendations for a late season trip to Italy - has to be accessible from Bergamo, looking at last week March, first week April time. Group is mixed from near begginers to advance/intermediate.

Yeah, I usually get hit with either New Year or Feb half Term as I I take my daughters for a week, but this year they have an extended Xmas break as their school is moving to a new building so they don't go back till about 12th January - bonus for me as it's cost the same to take all three of us away this season as it did for one of us last year!
