I did Birmingham and London last year - if it wasn't that I'd got free tickets for the Brum one then I'd have felt very short changed - show was very poor and almost amateurish after the London one.
No idea what it will be like this year as I'm not going - and parking charges were one of the factors. Olympia was great though, still time to get along if you can. Dave |

You must have been in a February week that didn't involve half term !

Tesco seemed to have a range of budget ski wear at the Snow Show yesterday, I would presume it's available in their larger stores or online.

That's certainly been my experience in Austrian resorts, though maybe just a morning/afternoon was an option and I was to dum to ask in those early novice days. Dave |

Show was very enjoyabel today (Thursday) and made a load of good contacts for the 2009/10 season.
Drinks with a crowed of ski mates down Covant Garden afterwards have really got me looking forward to the season.... less than 4 weeks to my first trip now... Dave |

If theres a few of you it probably is the cheapest option - that's what we opted for in Feb last year anyway (even doing it on a one-way rental as we had to drop it at Grenoble on the way back).
Dave P.S. BTW Hope you enjoy Alpe d'Huez... it's one of our favourites and I'll be sorry to miss out on it this year..... (mind you there is that free week in March...) |

Worth trying contacting some of the exhibitors - that's how I got my tickets last year.
