Seeing as the snow is soooooo good at the moment :D I have managed to book 4 more days on the snow from next wednesday to St. Anton and was wondering has anyone got any advice for me about where to stay (Cheaper the better) or any great runs etc.
Also as I have never skiied so late in the season before I'm not sure what kind of gear to bring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gar. |

Bandit is right, new boots that fit for life will feel far too small for the first week of skiing and hurt like hell too.
I bought a pair of boots last season (Salmon Falcon 9's) from Footworks in Chamonix and they killed my feet for about 5 or 6 days skiing, but then next day after a hard days skiing they felt great and have ever since. If anyone is going to Chamonix I can not recommend footworks any higher. I know this is no help now but...... ) |

I brought my ski bag on a Ryanair flight just before Christmas and it was full with all my ski gear for the week and my skis and poles and there was no problem with Ryanair.
You will be fine. |
